Short trip to the BLUE CAVE
Departure from Komiža 10am / 12pm - Duration 2-2.5 hours
Departure from Komiža and drive to Mezoporat bay. There you transfer to small boats of a local concessionaire with whom you go to see the Blue Cave. The trip depends on weather conditions and the possibility of entering the cave.

Drive to Mezoporarat bay where you transfer to small boats of a local concessionaire with whom you go to see the Blue Cave. After that we go to Porat (sandy beach)

The trip includes a tour of the Blue Cave, Medvidina Cave and a stay in the Porat bay. As with previous excursions, in the Mezoporat bay you transfer to small boats of the local concessionaire. They take you on a tour of the Blue Cave. After the tour, we continue our journey to the Porat bay and at the end to the Medvidina cave.
THE BLUE CAVE (Modra špilja) is located in the Balun Cove, on the eastern side of the island. It has been known to our fishermen since ancient times, whereas it was revealed to the world in 1884 when Baron Eugen Rensonneta expanded its entrance. Through this new, deepened entrance of 1.5m in height and 2.5m in width, the cave can be entered only by small boats with oars through a long sea passage. The Cave is 24m long and 12m wide. The depth of the sea in the Cave is 16m. The Cave is divided in two parts by an underwater bridge at the depth of 6 meters. The origin of its name is associated with the reflection of sunrays coming through the underwater opening on the southern side of the Cave illuminating it with the blue color and giving the objects in the water a blue-grayish color.
Reservation Terms When making a reservation, the agency must receive an advance payment of 30% of the total price of the excursion. The remaining amount is payable on the day of the excursion.
Cancellation of reservation In the event that SREBRNA TOURS cancels the excursion due to weather conditions, we will refund the full amount of the payment. If the service user cancels the reservation, the advance payment will not be refunded.
Protection of personal data The traveler provides his/her personal data voluntarily. Personal data is required for the realization of the service.
Insurance The agency insures its passengers on board in accordance with the law on the provision of services in tourism. These conditions apply to all programs of the SREBRNA TOURS agency.
